-
Take lots of
pictures, the more pictures you take the more likely you are to capture
something on camera.
-
Watch out for
shadows, reflections and dust orbs in your photos. When taking photos at
night in an outdoor setting you are more likely to have false
photographs.
-
Recording audio in a large
group setting is next to impossible. It is best to record audio in a quiet setting
for ghost hunting purposes. Audio recordings will not be permitted on
the tour.
-
Do not trespass
on private property, this is the number one rule of all paranormal
investigators, please stay with your group and follow all rules.
-
If you have any
questions about anything ask your tour guide, all tour guides are
members of Huntington Paranormal and are knowledgeable in ghost hunting
information and practices.
-
If you are
using an EMF meter during the tour please keep in mind we will be
walking along sidewalks just under power lines and streetlights, these
may produce high EMF levels that may not reflect the actual EMF reading
of each property or area.
-
Thermometers
are not recommended due to unstable temperature readings in outdoor
settings.
-
With any
outdoor photos, dust orbs, reflections and shadows can
cause false evidence.
-
If you get
feelings of goose-bumps or the hairs on your arms standing on end, start
snapping photos!
-
It may sound
silly, but ask the ghosts if you may take their photo and thank them
after the photo is taken, being polite can never hurt.
-
If at any time
during the tour you get an uneasy feeling walk away from the area for a
few minutes until the group continues walking.
-
Be skeptical, always look for a
natural cause for unexplained phenomena, by eliminating common
explanations the evidence you collect becomes stronger proof.
-
Never pick up any items from a
haunted site to take home.
-
Have a positive
attitude and an open mind.
